Salary: $90,000 - $119,000

Description

Vermont Law and Graduate School invites applications for a Visiting Professor of Law to teach in the Online Hybrid JD (OHJD) Program during the 2025-2026 academic year.  Course needs include Civil Procedure (fall) and Evidence (spring). OHJD courses are taught synchronously online in the evenings (Eastern time).  

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Civil Procedure, a four-credit course in the fall, and Evidence, a four-credit course in the spring. Additional courses may be assigned dependent on curricular needs and faculty expertise.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an ABA-accredited J.D. law degree.  The successful applicant will have teaching experience and online teaching experience is highly recommended. Prior experience as an adjunct professor, guest lecturer, or other equivalent experience teaching/supervising law students in an academic context will be considered.  The visiting position will be a temporary, full-time, non-tenure-track appointment with a generous benefits package.
