About the role

At ADOR Kitchen and Cocktail we’re hiring for employees that are highly motivated and  provide great excellent customer service. They must be attentive, friendly, and efficient in a fast-paced environment. 

All of our roles at ADOR Kitchen and Cocktail are AT Will Positions. If offered the job you will be required to go thru training and if you successfully make it thru training then you will be released from training and will be able to start as a waitress. If you don't successfully make it thru training then we will not be able to employ you. 

Waitress Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort customers to their tables when host isn’t available. 
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
• Inform customers about the daily specials 
• Offer menu recommendations upon request
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software. 
• Check customers IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Communicate order changes to the Kitchen Staff and Bar 
• Serve food and drink orders 
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area 
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments. Must 
• Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
• Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
• Follow all relevant health department regulations 
• Provide excellent customer service to guests 
• Participate in Marketing and Promo
• Purchase All Uniforms 
• Post Daily on Social Media 
• Book Sections or Tables 
• Participate in Opening and Closing Duties 
• Other Duties as Assigned  

Qualifications and Requirements 

• 1-2 Years of Waitressing Experience Preferred 
• Must Be Over the Age of 21 
• Must have Food Handlers and TABC Server Certification 
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
