Account Executive, BCW Direct Impact Practice

BCW is seeking to hire an Account Executive who will be responsible for helping clients achieve grassroots and communications success. This client-facing position will be focused on the strategic planning, management and execution of grassroots campaigns that include earned media, specialty events, digital and social media, influencer outreach, coalition building, and issue advocacy.

This is an opportunity to work with highly visible F100 clients on specialized local campaigns that enhance reputation, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and product launches.

What is the work?

• Support day-to-day client communications
• Support the project management deliverables of staff, local market field team partners, consultants and vendors to ensure high-quality executions that exceed expectations
• Assist in crafting strategic grassroots campaigns designed to achieve clients’ reputation, public affairs and/or marketing communications objectives.
• Launch and execute local market communications strategies across targeted local markets across the US
• Write proposals, strategy documents and client correspondence.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client(s), including their business and goals, as well as helping to identify opportunities and challenges for each client.

Experience that contributes to your success:

• 1-2 years of work experience in public relations or public affairs with a specific focus on earned media and corporate communications and/or advocacy campaigns
• Experience working in an agency and/or in-house corporate communications environment a plus
• Working knowledge and understanding of communications, public relations, and grassroots advocacy
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of integrated earned, digital and social campaigns for unique audiences
• Desire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups
