Job Description - Account Executive (SLED)

Position Summary

Securis believes that a strong sales effort (encompassing both the sourcing and recycling of electronics equipment and secure data destruction) is essential to attaining $25 million in revenue.  It is a unique opportunity to participate in a vibrant company through an exciting growth period, and build a firm foundation for sustained success.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Understanding Securis’ internal capabilities and mapping them into client needs.
  • Ability to convincingly present solutions to key decision-makers and prospects at enterprise-level companies in the SLED (state, local and education) sectors, both over the phone and in person.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts to grow your pipeline.
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences to expand customer base.
  • Differentiate Securis from the competition, especially in the areas of secure data destruction and electronics recycling.
  • Share information based on account experience throughout the organization to further refine marketing, product development and operational capabilities.
  • Work in harmony with our operations group and our electronics resale unit. 
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs as required. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent presentation skills (oral, written, electronic) 
  • Proven ability to effectively organize and manage your time
  • Strong internal and external communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a focused, structured sales territory framework
  • Knowledge of the electronics industry (both end-user equipment and servers/networking equipment)
  • Persistence and tenacity
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Educational Background and Experience

  • 3+ years B2B sales experience required, including selling to state and local agencies.
  • Experience with Salesforce and ZoomInfo required.
  • Experience selling to IT decision-makers preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

COMPENSATION : $65,000-130,000 base salary; OTEs 120k to 280k, depending on experience and quota
