Account Executive - Software Sales (Automotive Industry)
Location: Chattanooga, Nashville, Memphis, or Atlanta

Salary: $65- $70k Base + Uncapped Commission, OTE ~ $140k/ Year
Candidates must have Automotive Dealership Experience Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Executive with a deep understanding of automotive franchise dealer service department operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our software product suite to car dealership service departments. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a keen understanding of manufacturer requirements, particularly in mileage-based services. Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the automotive dealership market, targeting service and parts managers.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within dealership service departments.
  3. Conduct in-depth consultations with prospects to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals.
  4. Showcase how our software solutions address specific issues faced by dealership service departments, emphasizing value propositions and ROI.
  5. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and manufacturer requirements related to automotive service operations.
  7. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
Qualifications:
  1. 2-3 years of direct experience working within automotive franchise dealer service departments, preferably in roles such as service director or high-end service advisor.
  2. Proven track record of success in enterprise-level consultative sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
  3. Understanding software platforms used in dealership service departments is preferred.
  4. Strong understanding of manufacturer requirements, particularly in relation to mileage-based services.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions effectively.
  6. Self-motivated, with a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
  7. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
