Account Manager - Commercial Insurance

Position Overview: Based in Raleigh NC, the Account Manager is responsible for providing outstanding service to existing and potential clients. The Account Manager is a trusted advisor who will evaluate customer needs and recommend commercial insurance products to best serve those needs. The Account Manager will work closely with producers, underwriters, and clients to ensure superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and cultivate relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Develop and present plans that will benefit the clients needs by providing appropriate insurance coverage.
• Obtain and analyze client data and make recommendations on the best insurance products.
• Ensure that all insurance policies are accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of all client activities.
• Stay current on industry trends, legislation, and products.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of professional experience 

• Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Prior experience in commercial insurance.
• Valid P&C license (preferred).
• Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations (preferred).
• Experience with customer relationship management software (CRM).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
