POSITION SUMMARY

The Entry-Level Accounting Associate will be working full-time within the accounting department. They will be assisting with daily accounting tasks involving accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and light journal entries. RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify, process, and record client payments into systems. Review client financing for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Accurately file vendor invoices, and update vendor information. Respond to Vendor Inquiries in a prompt manner. Prepare AR/AP reports. Support with Month-end/Year-end Closing procedures. Reconcile Bank and Credit Card Statements. Ad Hoc financial reports, projects, and schedules.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associates / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related discipline. Experience working in QuickBooks. Demonstrate proficiency in working with Excel.

HOURS, COMPENSATION + BENEFITS

This is a full-time position. Candidate must be willing to commit to extra hours when necessary for important events and complete time-sensitive tasks. The typical day is 8-9 work hours with a break for lunch, starting at 9 AM. Employee shall be hourly and receive a compensation range of $15-$20 an hour, which shall commensurate with experience. Salary will be increased with time in service and strong performance.
