Accountant- Hybrid

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis.
3. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial plans, and cash flow projections.
5. Conduct thorough reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies or errors.
6. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
8. Assist in the preparation for audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
9. Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
10. Utilize accounting software and other tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
11. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
12. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive company data.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is a plus.
2. Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
4. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
10. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
