Accountant lV (Temp)

Openwork is assisting our downtown Austin client in their search for an Accountant for their finance division. This temporary role will start in mid-December and is projected to last through the end of March 2024.

In this role, you'll:

• Assist with daily and monthly reconciliation of investment transactions
• Work between the subsidiary ledger and the custodian ledgers
• Classify and record cash receipts into the general ledger
• Prepare the daily deposit

Qualifications:

• 4 yr degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field (experience may substitute)
• 5 yrs of experience with responsible and progressive accounting, financial analysis, or related fields including experience in an automated accounting system
• Experience in reconciling and investment accounting is preferred

This is an ONSITE job in downtown Austin, 8 to 5 Monday through Friday.
