Accountant/Analyst

The Staff Accountant position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for numerous journal entries.
• Maintain accounting records such as Bank Reconciliations, GL account reconciliations, and Subsidiary Ledgers.
• Review financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Support monthly and year-end financial closes.
• Prepare audit schedules by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Perform basic financial analysis as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and 1-3 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office applications. Financial applications and database experience preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare field preferred.
• Organizational skills
• Ability to accept change and constructive criticism
