Accounting and Operations Assistant

A specialized electrical engineering consulting firm an Accounting and Operations Assistant to help them streamline their accounting, human resources, billing, collections, and operational activities. Your Day Includes

• Compiling and filing documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable; receiving, verifying, and posting invoices.
• Auditing invoices against purchase orders and researching discrepancies.
• Preparing invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviewing for accuracy.
• Reconciling general ledger accounts and corporate credit card receipts monthly.

Must Haves

• General clerical or administrative experience, including full duties as an accounting assistant or clerk.
• Experience in basic accounting and data entry level tasks.
• Associate degree or Business Technology certificate (can substitute for one year of experience).
