The Position  

We are searching for a Accounting Clerk to assist our Internal Accounting team with processing payments, deposits, invoices, income, and receipts. Top candidates will have worked in a similar book keeping role and have had previous experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.  

Responsibilities:  

• Processing payments, deposits, invoices, and entering data into accounting software  
• Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances  
• Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies 
• Preparing payroll, quarterly and year-end taxes and reporting
• Work on special projects, data entry, update procedures
• Managing employee expense claims 
• Maintain knowledge of current methods of keeping fiscal accounts and records
• Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts 

Essential Requirements

• Obtain  Act 33 and 34 Clearances
• Proficient with Excel other Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work independently
• Full time position requiring 38.75 hours per week

Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits:  

• Yearly starting at $34,000 (Paid Hourly, $16.87 an hour). Negotiable based on experience.
