Accounting Specialist II - Full Time Opportunity!

Arc is currently looking for an organized professional to join or Finance team as an Accounting Specialist.

In this role, you will provide administrative, accounting and financial reporting services for Arc of Onondaga operations. Some responsibilities include maintaining computer databases, financial controls, accounting and administrative management information, as detailed in policies and procedures for assigned responsibilities. You will also utilize customer service skills to promote cooperation, teamwork and support while accomplishing tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting plus 1-2 years of experience in either bookkeeping and/or accounting is preferred.
  • Alternatively, Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting plus 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience.
• Experience with Sage/MAS90 is preferred but not a requirement.
• Computer, administrative and communication skills to fulfill the position requirements.
• Combination of education and experience which, in the judgement of the employer, equals above standards.
• Valid NYS driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier.
