Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant

Our client, a well known electronics manufacturer in the Metro West area of Boston, is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant for an ongoing contract. In this Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant, job duties will include entering invoices, handling vendor discrepancies, cash posting, and light collections calls.

Input vendor invoices and expense reports

- Weekly "Check run"

- Commissions reports and payment to representatives

- Forms 1096, 1099

Overseeing all aspects of Accounts Receivable:

- Send invoices to customers

- Daily bank deposits

- Collect overdue accounts

Candidate should have 1 year or more of accounting experience, and be able to work in a fast paced environment!
