Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and mail to collect outstanding payments and resolve billing issues.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging summaries and collection activities.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address and resolve customer inquiries and disputes.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills.
