We are looking for a self-driven and competent Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at iT1, you will work closely with a great team and see the impact of your efforts. Your main responsibility will be to contact clients and collect missed and outstanding payments. We are expecting you to be professional, and trustworthy and to be able to work independently.

Requirements

• Managing the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable
• Documenting daily collections activity
• Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies
• Post daily deposits/cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts
• Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies and questions
• Process credit card transactions and maintain autopay customers
• Research and resolve sales tax issues
• Upload invoices into customers AP portals
• Other accounting duties as assigned

Job Qualification Requirements

• 5 years previous relevant Accounts Receivable experience
• AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Avalara is a plus
• Strong Computer Skills

Other Skills/Abilities

• Ability to coordinate with the sales department and customers to create effective working relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, well organized and detail-oriented
• MS Excel - Advanced
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Able to proactively utilize resources for completions of work
