- Support the month end close cycle and accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries.
- Prepare and submit monthly invoices.
- Process bi-weekly payrolls and associated benefits.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Review expenses monthly to ensure accruals are accurate.
- Manage Fixed Assets and monthly depreciation calculations.
- Prepare reports for SOX requirements.
- Prepare local sales tax filings.
- Provide support to other areas accounting as needed.
- Support annual financial and SOX audits.
- BS/BA degree in accounting.
- 3-5 years accounting experience preferred in general accounting, including areas of Accounts Payable and General Ledger and the month end close cycle.
- Exhibit positive and professional demeanor. Discretion is extremely important.
- Ability to work well with a small team.
- Applicants selected must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance; Therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Exercise ability to effectively communicate issues, concerns, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to personnel.
- Ability to multi-task and flexibility in working in different areas of accounting as business needs change.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Costpoint experience preferred.
