Job Description:

Our client, a local banking institution, is looking to bring on a new teller to their team in Raleigh! This position reports to the branch manager and is responsible for basic teller duties including cash handling, customer service, account services, and assisting in some personal banking matters. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering full time hours and benefits. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:45a - 5:00p onsite in the south Raleigh area.

Responsibilities:

• Manage transactions for customers, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments and

• General account maintenance including opening and closing of accounts, account changes and basic troubleshooting

• Identify customer needs, provide information on new products and services, and direct customers to branch representatives as needed

• Reconcile cash drawers, count and package currency, general cash handling duties

• Track, record, report, and store transactional information and special requests

• Provide a high level of customer service to all guests and clients

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Post-secondary education, preferred

Desired Background/Skills:

• Strong customer service skills and business acumen

• Ability escalate concerns appropriately

• Strong problem solving skills

• Ability to manage various priorities in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ year of experience in a banking institution, required

• Previous teller experience, strongly preferred

• Experience with cash management

• 1-3 years of customer service experience, required
