WRAL Digital Solutions, a divisionof Raleigh-based Capitol Broadcasting Company, is looking for a dynamic addition to our sales team.We are looking for an experienced, successful sales professional who excels at prospecting, pursuing and cultivating new business.who is notafraid to roll up their sleeves and go after new business. Ideal candidates are initiative-taking, quick-thinking, solution-oriented, consultative sellers with a positive attitude.Sales experience is needed, while digital marketing and advertising experience is preferred.

Have local contacts and a solid network.
Responsibilities include:
Prospecting and developing a full new business sales pipelineon a consistent basis.
Establishing credibility with local businesses and agencies as a digital advertising expert.
Identifying prospects, scheduling appointments, uncovering opportunities, presentingproposals, and selling a suite of digital solutions including WRAL.com, display, social, sponsorships, and creative services.
Achieving monthly assigned budget.
Maintaining and growing your book of business.
Collaborating with digital strategists and campaign managers to build strategies, monitor campaigns, and review results.
Regular meetings with current clients to share the effectiveness of their campaigns and discuss new products/solutions to help them meet their goals.
Staying current on industry trends and best practices.
Using CRM tools to log sales activities and manage pipeline/forecast.
Requirements:
5+ years of sales experience or 3+ years of advertising sales experience (digital experience preferred)
Demonstrated success in prospecting, developing, maintaining, and growing sound relationships with new businesses and a record of accomplishment of meeting sales goals.
Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
Experience selling digital marketing and advertising is a plus!
Must reside in Raleigh-Durham market.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and a pre-employment drug screening are required.
