Compensation
$95,000 - $110,000 DOE
Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and related reports
- Post adjusting and accrual journal entries according to GAAP requirements
- Manages month-end inventory and quarterly inventory counts, and posts necessary adjustments
- Provide support as needed for preparing and presenting annual budgets
- Manage a team of ten including AP/Procurement, Billing, and Construction Admin departments
- Assist with employee staffing and development, and conduct annual employee development reviews for all direct reports
- Provide input, support, and roll-out for corporate initiatives at the local level
- Coordinate cross-training and back-up planning for all related accounting/administrative functions
- Provide financial and administrative training and support for division sales and plant operations managers as needed
- Assist with ad hoc reporting to the General Manager, Operations Managers, and corporate departments as needed
Education
Accounting degree preferred
Requirements/Qualifications
- Direct accounting experience (e.g. staff accountant, bookkeeper, etc.)
- At least two years of related supervisory experience
- Prior inventory management
- Experience with a large ERP system
- Knowledge of office procedures and systems
- Proficiency with all MS Office software, especially Excel
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; must be a self-starter who is deadline driven
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience troubleshooting complex administrative business problems
- Able to produce analysis and recommendations for problem-solving and process improvements
- Team player
Preferred:
- Experience working in a construction materials business
- Experience with SAP

Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing.
