Aerotek is looking to hire a Cook for a company in Wilmington, DE. Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of cooking and food service experience. This is a contract-to-hire position with competitive pay and benefits!

Description:

+ Prepares ingredients, processes orders, produces meals, and cleans their workspace.

+ Measures ingredients and seasonings, washes and chops vegetables, cuts meat, and sets up workstations.

+ Cooks food according to a pre-assigned schedule, and assists with menu items. They use equipment like grills, fryolaters, steamers, ranges, broilers, steam kettles, and ovens.

+ Prepares, cooks, bakes, and dispenses food.

+ Will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special Catered Events.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ High school graduate or equivalent required.

+ 2 years experience preferred.

Shift:

+ 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday.
