Job Description - Insulation Account Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Insulation Account Managers for our Argus Contracting office in Phoenix, AZ. This position requires a highly motivated Construction professional that can:

  Manage the execution of mechanical insulation projects

  • Prepare mechanical insulation estimates
  • Operate and excel in a sales-oriented climate, servicing existing accounts and prospecting for new clients
  • Achieve assigned individual/team revenue and profit margin goals

  • Provide excellent customer service and business development to current and prospective customers through estimating, proposals, sales presentations and project management
  • Solicit bid packages including drawings, specifications, details about customer needs, subcontractor requirements/interest, and helps to develop bid strategies on a project-by-project basis
  • Assure accurate tracking of customer data, follow-up on sales opportunities

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, finance, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience and product knowledge in industrial/commercial insulation & coatings or mechanical contracting or similar field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word 
  • Driver's License, position involves frequent travel within territory
  • Knowledge of MIKE estimating and VTO preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Use of a customer relationship management (CRM) system like SalesForce or similar
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
