Job Description - Integrated Payments Account Executive

What You'll Do 

As an Integrated Payments Account Executive is responsible for managing both inbound leads & generating self-sourced leads via their own prospecting efforts to build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities to close & meet quotas. The ideal candidate will be coachable, self-motivated, tenacious, accountable, fearless in the face of opposition, & hungry to do what’s needed to succeed. 

Outcomes You’ll Own: 

  • Pipeline Development – Create/manage a full-cycle sales process including: building awareness, generate self-sourced leads through your own prospecting efforts, demo the product, ensure follow-ups, & close deals.      Success Measures: Call volume, Self-Set Opportunities, Quota Attainment, and Leads Generated  

  • Pipeline Management - Execute sales pipeline hygiene to drive deals to close continuously. Success Measures: Open Oppurtunites, Created Dates, & Contact Status  

  • Convert Leads and Opportunities – Discover & assess prospect needs our products will solve. Success Measures: Generated vs Converted Leads, Closed Won vs Lost Deals, & Quota Attainment  

  • Advance Expertise in Role - Exhibit ownership in self-development, adopting best practices, & openness to coaching.     Success Measures: Completed trainings, Passing Assessments, & Call Scores   

  • Set Proper Delivery Expectations – Consistently communicate clear details to customers & internal DI team members.   Success Measures: Support tickets, Churned Accounts, and Customer Adoption Metrics.  

In this role you will also:  

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities for integrated payment solutions within the dental industry.  

  • Cultivate & maintain dental practice relationships to understand their payment processing needs.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment services seamlessly into our platform.  

  • Educate clients on the benefits of integrated payment solutions, emphasizing efficiency, security, and cost savings.  

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our integrated payment services.  

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to payment processing. Provide ongoing support and training to clients regarding payment services and related inquiries. 

What You Need to Get the Job Done 

  • Excel in generating self-sourced leads through your own prospecting efforts 

  • Excellent verbal & written communication & interpersonal skills 

  • Effective time management 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a SaaS or Merchant Services sales environment. 

  • Detailed understanding of Payment Card Industry (PCI) and integrated payment services. 

  • In-depth knowledge of interchange rates, dues & assessments, and various card network fees. 

  • Familiarity with PCI Compliance. 

  • Detailed understanding of various Payments pricing methods including 'Flat Rate,' 'Interchange Pass Through,' 'Tiered Pricing,' 'Surcharge Pricing,' etc. 

  • Ability to read and interpret merchant services billing statements from various industry providers.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (higher level excel experience a plus), Confluence, and Slack.
