Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned property service contract requirements in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Ensure a safe work environment by understanding and complying with company policy and safety manual
• Use basic maintenance hand tools and other equipment safely and effectively
• Complete and process all necessary job paperwork required when visiting a site
• Interact professionally with clients, account managers, and subcontractors
• Perform start-up inspections and system shut-downs of irrigation systems
• Perform basic troubleshooting techniques and make on-site repairs as necessary
• Perform property inspections and complete proper forms before leaving the job site
• Communicate work order and system status to the department head and account manager
• Perform regular safety inspections on the vehicle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in irrigation installation
• Certified as Irrigation Technician (CIT), or actively working toward certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in basic math, verbal, and written communication
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
