The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for managing the accounts payable team and overseeing the full cycle accounts payable process by partnering and supporting all business partners, internally and externally, to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all invoices.

Manage the full cycle accounts payable functions; supervises the daily operations of Accounts Payable department.

Manage Account Payable team members; training, mentoring, coordinating, setting goals, and holding team members accountable for the timely and accurate processing of invoices.

Develops implements and maintains systems, procedures, and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

Responsible for performing the month-end and year-end processes to facilitate the financial statement preparation. Assists with internal and external annual audits.

Provides system support and technical expertise for Accounts Payable, and General Ledger; oversees testing and documentation of upgrades.

Manage vendor relationships. Support internal and external customers data request to include creation of Lawson queries and upload templates.

Drive improvement of payables processes by analyzing current practices and recommending and implementing changes.

Responsible for ensuring annual 1099s are filed timely and accurately.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration or a closely related field (equivalent years of education and work experience may be considered)

EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:
5 to 7 years of experience managing and overseeing the Accounts Payable function for a mid- to large-size organization
