Nonprofit Senior Accountant

Gpac is working with a thriving nonprofit in the San Francisco area in need of a Senior Accountant to join their team. This will be a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable
• Process expense reports and corporate credit cards
• Maintain vendor files
• Process Accounts Receivable
• Perform calls to outside parties related to payments or receipts
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts at month-end including:
• Prepare monthly financial reports including variance analysis
• Perform other ad-hoc analysis and transactional processing as requested
• Leverages knowledge to resolve questions and inform answers
• Provides support to organization by proactively disseminating information or knowledge
• Timely responsiveness: responds to communications (emails, texts, voicemails etc.)

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 7 years of experience in nonprofit accounting
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks, Bill.com, and Expensify (a must)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects
