Project/Property Accountant

Project Accountant- HYBRID- Atlanta Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the Property Manager and Accountants to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and budgets.
• Reviews monthly and quarterly operating reports to investor, working closely with Asset Managers and Property Managers.
• General ledger review and analysis. Ensures records are kept in compliance with GAAP or other basis of accounting.
• Researches accounting guidance and drafts position memos on treatment of new/unusual items.
• Treasury functions including cash management and cash flow projections.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• CPA designation (or intention to work toward CPA designation) is preferred.
• Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
