Reinsurance Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Reinsurance Accountant to join our growing organization. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the reinsurance accounting functions, including but not limited to Proof of Loss Billing, Reinsurance Accounting, Ceded Calculations, and Property Accounting. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, Excel proficiency, and Contract Accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs Proof of Loss Billing, Reinsurance Accounting, Ceded Calculations, and Property Accounting.
• Assists in the preparation of reinsurance treaties for cession to reinsurers.
• Reconciles and maintains records of all accounts related to reinsurance activity.
• Checks for accuracy and completeness of all documents.
• Utilizes Imageright and Riskconnect systems for managing data.
• Conducts analysis of reinsurance data and provides reports to management.

Qualifications:

• Reinsurance Accounting (REQUIRED)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least three years of reinsurance accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, Imageright, and Riskconnect.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
