Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Domtar is seeking a Remote Accountant to join our team based in Jacksonville, Florida. As an Entry Level Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data for our organization. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain financial records accurately and efficiently - Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis - Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial compliance and accuracy - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial matters - Stay current on accounting principles and regulations - Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Hardworking and confident personality - Strong negotiation and leadership skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software - Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles - 0 years of experience, entry-level position
