Bookkeeper

Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a crucial financial role. This position is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Record and maintain daily financial transactions in accounting software.
2. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll.
3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
5. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
6. Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
2. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
3. Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

1. Associate degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Experience with tax preparation and compliance.
