Online Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

Alaska Air Group is seeking a confident and reliable individual to join our team as an Online Accounts Receivable Associate at our headquarters in Seattle, Washington. As a key member of our finance department, the Online Accounts Receivable Associate will be responsible for managing online accounts receivable processes and ensuring timely and accurate payment collections. This position is ideal for individuals with at least 4 years of relevant experience and who possess strong adaptability and leadership skills.

Responsibilities: - Manage online accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation - Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, working closely with customers and internal teams to resolve payment issues - Process credit card payments and refunds in a timely manner - Reconcile accounts and generate reports on accounts receivable status - Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks - Collaborate with other team members to improve accounts receivable processes and procedures - Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Prior experience with online accounts receivable systems is preferred
