Senior Accountant

About the Role: 
The Senior Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Botkeeper, Inc. as well as assist with the monthly close and the annual audit.  Responsibilities: 

• Process vendor invoices
• Manage and reconcile corporate credit cards
• Maintain accruals, prepaids and fixed assets
• Recognize revenue according to ASC 606
• Allocate COGS
• Process sales tax

Will assist with:

• Intercompany entries and consolidation
• Various month JEs and reconciliations
• Investor reporting
• State compliance
• Process improvement and documentation
• Ad Hoc projects such as file cleanup, account cleanup and software integrations

Requirements: 

• 3-5 years of related experience
• Degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong QuickBooks Online skills required
• ASC606 experience strongly preferred
• Good communication skills required as you’ll be working with various dept heads and others in and out of the company
