Job Description - Social media account coordinator

The Dana Agency, a leading public relations agency specializing in luxury lifestyle brands, is seeking a Social Media Account Coordinator to join our Miami office. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for connecting with consumers across all social media platforms. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the social media team with content creation and social media campaigns for a wide variety of luxury lifestyle clients across the hospitality, real estate, culinary, fashion and beauty industries. 

We look for candidates who possess enthusiasm for all things social media, have the ability to work on multiple clients simultaneously, a strong attention to detail and a creative eye.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Collaborate with Social Media Account Manager to develop comprehensive social media strategies to meet client objectives
  • Assist in creating social media content on appropriate social channels according to overall strategy and best practices
  • Manage the scheduling and quality control of all social media posts for clients and the agency
  • Proactively identify opportunities in user-generated content and social media trends
  • Work with Social Media Manager to produce influencer lists for respective client campaigns
  • Assist in conducting research and analytics for clients
  • Monitor and clip secured social media coverage for clients 
  • Create client-facing reports showcasing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Stay up-to-date with social trends within relevant industries
  • Assist Social Media Account Manager in all key projects as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • Up to 2 years of work experience in social media, communications or content marketing 
  • Experience with social media management systems and social media analytics tools
  • Firm understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Knowledge of Canva, Google Office Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), and Microsoft Office 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience in Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube are a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel at research and compiling data for client-facing reporting
  • Ability to work independently on a project or in a collaborative team environment
  • Produce creative and visually engaging content to achieve results that meet our clients’ social media results
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • Proactive and organized
