Adecco is currently assisting one of its clients in their search for a Staff Accountant in Arlington, TX!

Pay rate: $25-$30/hr (dependent on experience)

Shift availability: Mon – Fri, 8a -5p, some flexibility needed

Length: Four (4) months with possibility of extension

Our ideal candidate must have/must be able to:

• Performs account reconciliations, trend analysis, and analyzes for completeness

• Research information requests and responds to issues involving general ledger accounts

• Reconcile corporate balance sheet accounts and perform analytical reviews of monthly activity

• Assist in the preparation of corporate schedules for annual audit performed by external auditors

• Prepares journal entries, generates reports, and participates in related monthly accounting activities to ensure timely ledger close

• Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures

• Assists in special projects, as assigned

• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification Requirements:           

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field

Experience requirements:         

• 1+ years of accounting experience required

• Computer literacy, including Excel, Word is a MUST

• Knowledge of General Accounting Principles Strong analytical and problem resolution skills

• Exercises independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work according to applicable regulations, company policies and procedures

• Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly changing environment

• Strong multitasking skills

• Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the stress of constant deadlines

This role is onsite, must reside in/near Arlington, TX
