- Verify the accuracy of recorded transactions through meticulous bank reconciliations.
- Utilize Sage accounting software proficiently to process and document financial transactions effectively.
- Oversee the accounts payable process, including reviewing invoices, processing payments promptly, and maintaining optimal vendor relationships.
- Support financial accounting tasks by assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of financial transactions within the general ledger.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies through comprehensive general ledger reconciliations.
- Accurately prepare journal entries to document financial transactions in accordance with best practices.
- Stay abreast of technical accounting standards and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Required Skills: - In-depth knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation procedures.
- Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations with precision.
- Hands-on experience with Sage accounting software.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Strong grasp of financial accounting principles and practices.
