Role: Staff Accountant
Location: Rockville, MD

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely and accurate financial and operational reporting of multiple reportable subsidiaries.
• Prepares all journal entries for posting to general Ledger.
• Completes the monthly bank reconciliation to the general ledger
• Maintains overall responsibility for maintenance of all general ledger supporting schedules.
• High level of organization and communication skills
• Assist with month-end close
• Assists in preparation of financial statements
• Assist with external auditors as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting (preferred), OR Finance or Business related field 
• Adept in Excel
• 2+ years of experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, reconciliations and assisting with month-end close.
• Experience with a large ERP systems
