BASF’s Agricultural Products site in Palmyra, MO, is seeking a professional like you to oversee all storeroom functions and preparedness. In this role, you will support all areas of the site through consistent management of storeroom and the stores processes. You will also ensure consistent standards are maintained in stores for safe movement of goods and chemicals. You will use your knowledge of operations, maintenance, SAP, and asset management to ensure that stores is a consistent supporter of the maintenance execution process, including support for daily operations and Turn-arounds.

During your day shift as a Storeroom Supervisor, you will…

• Ensure activities are completed in a safe manner, in compliance with BASF policies, leveraging Site and Stores safety procedures, while effectively communicating the impact that Stores processes and procedures have on site success.
• Manage Storeroom Organization and Staff to maintain and improve stores processes, including balancing resources, work schedules, and tasks. On-board and train stores employees to ensure consistent usage of SAP and Stores processes.
• Support Maintenance workflow processes by ensuring equipment and parts are available for planned work, including Turnaround work.
• Utilize knowledge of maintenance work flows to coordinate maintenance activities in non-production areas such as storeroom, A/N warehouse, and locker room facilities.
• Utilize SAP and continuous improvement tools to report and optimize Stores KPIs, such as Slow Moving Stock, Stockout Reporting, Inventory Valuation, and Cycle Count results.
• Provide support to Asset Management and Maintenance to ensure that critical spares are available when needed. This includes participation and support in Bill Of Material reviews.
• Govern all stock materials: approve/reject stock requests, identify obsolete inventory, adjust inventory levels, and approve returns.
• Audit stores processes and inventories, including cycle counts, safety checklists, after-hour Warehouse access, etc. to ensure site assets are accounted for and maintained in good condition.
• Participate in weekend call rotation for maintenance coordination.
• Successfully engage inside and outside the organization, you will interface with suppliers, customers, and vendors as needed to maintain plant operations. Specifically, you will liaise with service groups and outside contractors to ensure equipment related to the production facilities is stocked in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.

If you...

• Have a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Have the ability to implement change in a supervisory role.
• Can demonstrate ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Possess proven track record as a change agent.
• Have desire to implement change and improve maintenance flows through storeroom management.
• Are willing and able to participate in weekend call rotation for maintenance coordination.
