Tax manager

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. You will work remotely and be responsible for managing the preparation and filing of tax returns, managing tax accounting, and providing other related tax services to our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Work alongside other members of the tax team to manage tax accounting and provide other tax services.
• Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
• Stay up to date with the latest changes in federal, state, and international tax laws.
• Research and resolve tax-related issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax-related responsibilities.
• Provide tax advice and professional guidance to clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in individual and business tax preparation.
• Proficiency in tax accounting practices and principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other tax-related software.
