A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated Tunnel Foreman to join our team in Denver, CO.

Requirements:

• Construction experience *Experience working on Utility and Tunneling. Preferably fiberglass reinforced pipe and steel casing experience.
• Must be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain for purpose of performing duties outlined above.
• Must work in all weather conditions, be prepared for both extreme heat/cold.
• Must be able to work independently and maintain a schedule of work.
• Exceptional attendance record.
• Must be available to work Overtime.
• Ability to stand, squat, stoop, bend, lift for extended periods of time.
• Must pass post offer drug screen and E-verify all candidates.
• Manage all structural tunneling work to include foundations, elevated formwork cycles, cranes, layout and controls, placement, consolidating and finishing concrete best practices.
• Must understand basic tunneling principles preferably fiberglass reinforced pipe and steel casing experience.
• Capable of submittal and shop drawing review process (Such as: rebar, tendons, stud-rails, concrete etc.) Verify that all required shop drawings, plans, mix designs, special material approvals, traffic control plans, and other documents necessary for assigned phases of work have been submitted and approved prior to start of the work
• Inspect and verify the receipt or shipment of materials to and from the job site.
• Properly code field delivery tickets and employee timecards as required and turn into the project manager promptly.
• Determine sequencing of work; maintain and submit 3 Week Look-Ahead schedules; and communicate updates and impacts to schedule with PM on a daily basis. Review weekly job schedule to assure project is on track. Hold individuals/subcontractors accountable for deliverables and promises.
• Manage field labor and provide field training,
• Schedule subcontractors in accordance to required work schedule.
• Schedule pump trucks, material and equipment deliveries• Shoring/form rental ordering and scheduling
