JOB PURPOSE:

Provides day-to-day maintenance and technical support for the Automatic Defect Removal (ADR), Whole Potato Sorters, Tegra Sorters, Veryx, Camera Systems, and sorting equipment.  Will also provide operational and technical training to operators. Will be available for call in support and be on site to ensure equipment is ready for startup.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Discusses machine operations with operators to ensure optimal performance. 
• Provides ongoing training for all operators.
• Tests machines regularly to measure sorting and defect removal performance.
• Works with other maintenance members to keep the whole plant running smoothly.
• Inspects equipment for broken or worn parts to be replaced at the earliest opportunity.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

• Stay on track with maintenance activities on all sorters while doing predictive maintenance.
• Communicate with operators and production personnel regularly to confirm that machines are working correctly.
• Provide feedback to team members on equipment improvements.

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• Associates Degree in Industrial Electronic Technology or related field
• Proven resiliency and collaboration in the face of challenging circumstances
• Displays accountability with all equipment.
• Experienced in analyzing data/information to communicate recommendations to operators and other maintenance personnel.
• Able to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Knowledge of computer systems
• Prior experience in a production environment a plus.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
