Accounting Clerk

Our client is a thriving beverage company in Phoenix, AZ, specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality beverages and spirits. The company has a global presence with offices across the United States. They are committed to excellence in all aspects of their business, from product development to customer service.  They are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk , you will play a key role in supporting their finance department by performing various accounting and administrative tasks. Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, receipts and payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain records of transactions and reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements
• Enter financial data into the accounting system with precision and attention to detail. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial records
• Track and monitor company expenses, including travel expenses, office supplies and utilities. Assist in preparing expense reports for review by management
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed, including filing documents, answering phones and responding to inquiries from vendors and customers

• 1+ year of experience in an accounting focused role 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting system such as QuickBooks, Peachtree or NetSuite 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
