Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for timely, accurate, and compliantly processing payroll.
  • Responsible for daily pay of subcontractors.
  • Responsible for maintaining payroll processing reporting.
  • Processes employee Time & Attendance data to payroll and reconcile variances. Approve and release time in the time system.
  • Is the payroll expert, and provides training as needed to ensure compliance and full utilization of tools.
  • Process daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly bonuses.
  • Accurate reporting of time and bonus in operating system
  • Process commissions and commission reconciliation.
  • Develops in-depth understanding of payroll software. Create reports on demand.
  • Responsible for month-end duties including approving payroll and benefit related invoices and ensuring timely payment, submitting payroll accrual and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Maintains vendor contact for payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Generate and maintain payroll reports for record-keeping and auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll processing and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and update payroll procedures accordingly.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information and other proprietary details.
  • Understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of payroll administration.
  • Effective time management and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Keen ability to establish priorities and multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with Paylocity, a plus.
Qualifications/Education:
  • 3-5 years of Payroll experience
