Job Description - Administrative Assistant

Do you have office administration experience or a background in human resources support? Do you have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and effectively prioritize projects? As an Administrative Assistant to our Stores Human Resources team, you’ll work with our team of Corporate and Field Human Resource Executives, Managers, Business Partners, Specialists, providing office administration support related to the successful processing and record-keeping of all associate relations matters. You’ll coordinate and assist with day-to-day office management to support the recruitment and hiring process as well as ongoing associate relations responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and initial screening of applicants to determine qualifications.
  • Scheduling and facilitating new hire orientation and training.
  • Human Resource information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) administration.
  • Record, compile, enter data and retrieve information as needed.
  • Maintenance of personnel files.
  • Ensure compliance standards are met for record-keeping, verification and data retention related to new hires and current associates.
  • Other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent . Experience in Human Resources and Retail preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required. Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll and timekeeping software desired. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
