Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders, comparing and identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to ensure the materials received are as ordered. Additionally, you may be required to route incoming items within the company as directed and maintain related records.
Job Specifications:
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Estill, SC
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1 st Shift, 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday
Roles and Responsibilities:
Accurately complete the order entry process
Verify the bill of material for each order against the print
Print required information for shop orders and create packets
Scan packets to the shop floor computer system and distribute to others as needed
Make adjustments to inventory and earned hours based on the negative report
Order office and production supplies as needed
Print pick lists for shipping orders
Schedule trucks for completed orders that are ready to ship
Create bill of lading and end-of-day reports
Verify all shop orders are closed
Create employee badges and enroll in time clocks
Cross-train in areas where needed
Answer company phone and greet visitors
Qualifications & Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to perform basic computer functions
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Must be a self-motivated individual who pays close attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
Ability to read and follow procedures and instructions
Ability to use varying degrees of independent judgment and discretion
