Job Description - Administrative Assistant - Hiring Urgently

Clark Roofing and Siding, Inc. of Chesapeake, VA is currently hiring for a skilled, motivated, and organized full-time Administrative Office Assistant/Inside Sales Representative to handle a multitude of office duties and ensure that each customer receives a superior level of service. This Office Assistant position works a full-time schedule of Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM . However, hours may vary to accommodate our client's schedules.

This position starting pay is up to $18 - $20 per hour , depending on skill level and experience.

SKILLSET:

  • Positive, confident, and pleasant phone voice and customer service skills.
  • Minimum of five years of general office experience.
  • Expert-level computer skills. The position requires daily use of web-based accounting and industry software as well as Microsoft Office programs.
  • Sales experience within a service organization is helpful.
  • Keen attention to detail and fine listening skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with management, peers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Time management expert with the ability to multitask.
  • Aptitude to problem solve.
  • Capable of working well independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in grasping new information and skillsets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Professionally represent a local, family-owned business as the first point of contact.
  • Field inbound sales calls from existing and potential customers.
  • Provide information to customers about our services and offerings.
  • Review information submitted by customers and contact them to set up appointments.
  • Schedule repair evaluations and project installations.
  • Interact with employees to coordinate appointments.
  • Enter accounts payable invoices into QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Receive account receivable payments into QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Make social media posts on behalf of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned to assist in the operation of the company.
