Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; full-time

JOB SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant II, Case Management, will provide administrative support to the Ability One Case Management team which has contractual oversight of Goodwill of Colorado’s Federal and Commercial contracts line of business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Update/assist/implement client documentation while maintaining paperwork accuracy. 

• Scan programmatic log notes into electronic media and filing appropriately.

• Function as administrator for program inventory software and update client documentation as needed per deadlines.

• Complete required billing for all programmatic participants. 

• Assist with screening employment applications and some new hire activities.

• Assist with other clerical tasks as needed.

• Maintain strict confidentiality in all personnel and other sensitive matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• A High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate degree is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum five (5) years of clerical, computer, and customer service experience. Candidate must have analytical and mathematical skills.

Other:

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. The incumbent must be proficient in computer use and able to type 50 wpm accurately and must have accuracy with reports, processes, and mathematical calculations. 

• The incumbent must have the ability to work independently as well as interact and work cooperatively and effectively with several people including upper-level management, external customers, employees, as well as persons with disabling and disadvantaged conditions. 

• The incumbent must be able to organize and follow through with duties demonstrating the capability of handling several different and ongoing projects. The incumbent must be able to cope with the pressure of deadlines and be flexible in regard to special requests, job tasks and duties. The incumbent will be expected to maintain confidentiality regarding work assignments and other company related information.

• The incumbent must use good communication skills, maintain a positive attitude, and interact appropriately with others including community agencies, government and civilian customers, contracts staff and employees of varying functioning levels in a culturally respectful and appropriate manner. The incumbent must also conduct self in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance that enhances the firm’s reputation.

• Position requires sitting for extended periods and using a computer keyboard for a minimum of six (6) hours each day. Must be physically able to stand/stoop when filing. 

• Overtime and/or weekend hours may be required when necessary as well as some travel to attend meetings and required training.

• A valid Colorado driver’s license without a history of violations is also required*.

*Per contract requirements with vehicle insurance provider: Qualified candidates must be 21 years of age and have no major traffic violations for previous 3 years (for driving/insurance purposes). Must have reliable transportation; must also be able to operate company vehicle.
