Job Description - Administrative Coordinator

Minimum Starting Pay: $17.15  

 

 

Our state-of-the-art Kitchens department located in La Crosse, WI produces over 40 different food products for approximately 800 retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy everything from our soups, salads, sandwiches to our Pothole Pizzas. With our expansion we are now able to offer a variety of Take Home Meals and finished fruit and vegetable products, all prepared daily by our Kitchens team.

 

The Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Director of Kitchens Operations, Kitchens Management Team members, and the overall offices of the Kitchens production operation. This person’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide daily office/clerical support by typing memos, letters, and emails, creating spreadsheets, and data entry
  • Assist with the hiring process of Kitchens coworkers
  • Schedule appointments, conference rooms, answer/route telephone calls, and relay messages to the appropriate team members
  • Support and carry out initiatives by creatively communicating information to the coworker team
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Production Operations Team and all other departments within Kwik Trip

 

Additional responsibilities include: assist with the payroll process by entering punch adjustments and illness log entries and reporting overtime; assist with special projects; assist with period end activity; update spreadsheets and reports; organize and maintain office area supplies, paperwork, files, etc. This individual is responsible for assisting coworkers and processes, which will support the organization’s values and culture while maintaining the ability to maximize the Kitchen’s goals and objectives; may need to work on the food production line as needed.

 

Qualifications: This person should demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of the following: Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook); procedures in relation to production operations; internal structure, systems, and services of the Commissary. Previous administrative experience and/or an Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, safety conscious environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Accurate/detail oriented; self-motivated; possess strong typing and data entry skills; comfort with office equipment is required.

 

Work Schedule : Wednesday through Saturday, working 7:00am to 5:00pm
