Job Summary

The Instructional Support Administrative Coordinator reports to the Associate Dean-Academic Affairs at the Sheldon B. Lubar College of Business. Responsibilities include:

  • Support of ITM , Finance, and other work-force development certificate programs
    • Gather feedback from industry stakeholders on certificate curricula
    • Develop marketing materials for certificate programs
  • Faculty pedagogical support
    • Keep abreast of best practices in higher education instruction
    • Guide faculty through Lubars online course certification process
  • Coordinate ad hoc instructional staff hiring
    • Utilize established processes to facilitate the hiring of 40-60 lecturers each semester
    • Work with Associate Dean to ensure that all hired adjuncts meet AACSB qualifications as needed by Lubar

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience in course development and/or program development
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in online course development
  • Experience in teaching in higher education
  • Experience in building relationships with outside stakeholders
  • Masters degree in education, instructional design, or related field
