Job Description - ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR

Administrative Supervisor:

The Administrative Supervisor at Montefiore Medical Group plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of administrative operations within the healthcare facility. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of administrative staff, this role involves recruiting, training, and evaluating personnel to maintain optimal staffing levels. The Administrative Supervisor implements and enforces organizational policies, fostering a culture of compliance and efficiency. Daily responsibilities include facilitating communication between administrative and clinical teams, addressing operational challenges, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. This role also involves managing budgets, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and collaborating with various departments to achieve organizational goals. The Administrative Supervisor at Montefiore Medical Group is integral to maintaining a well-organized, efficient, and patient-focused administrative environment.

Responsibilities: 
• Supervises the activities of a designated administrative function to support operational goals and objectives. 
• Schedules, assigns, and monitors the work of staff.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate administrative personnel.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage work schedules.
• Facilitate communication between administrative staff, clinical staff, and management.
• Coordinate and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics.
Requirements: 
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Three years of related experience required.

Shift:
Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p


Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is six (6) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.
