Advanced Manufacturing & Machining Instructor

The instructor will teach Advanced Manufacturing and Machining competencies as the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce requires. The instructor will be required to provide students with classroom and hands-on experience that meet the standards of -and comply with- the requirements established by the Office of Career & Technical Education Office. The instructor will maintain an organized classroom and ensure that the lab is OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliant and adheres to their practices. Education and Certification:

• Must have a high school diploma
• Possess Ohio Licensure CTWD 172302 Precision Machining

• If candidate does not possess licensure Precision Machining, must complete an approved Career-Technical Licensure Program offered at an Ohio college or university.

Have the ability to obtain (which will require college coursework) Must possess a minimum of 5 or more years of work experience in CNC, milling, and lathe operations Be familiar with classroom technology
Specific Job-Related Experience: Bachelor's degree in the field or 5 or more recent/current years work experience as an Aviation Mechanic or closely related field.
